Name: Hugo (Bill) Weasley
Age / Year: 15. 5th Year.
Birthday: February 29th!
House: Ravenclaw
PB: James Mcavoy, when younger.
History and Upbringing: Hugo always had a strange affinity for mud and dirt. From a young age, he could be found in the garden, all too often uprooting plants. His parents tolerated this to an extent but eventually put a charm over the garden to prevent it. Due to this, Hugo became more and more creative with his methods of annoying his parents. By the age of ten, Hugo was recognised as a "grubby pest" by all but his father, who found... In fact, still finds his exploits "highly amusing."
Gangly, with floppy, brown hair, Hugo has, unsuprisingly, never been a hit with the opposite gender, however he had several "sweethearts" as a young boy. He has a tendency to fixate upon a specific girl for a long period of time and then promptly forget her when he finally realises she's not interested. Throughout all his failed "romances," his mother has supported him and, consequently, Hugo is a bit of a "mummy's boy."
Unlike many of his peers, Hugo is unaffected by his parents' fame from the Second War. He even has a slight tendency to revel in it, using it to attract more attention. From an early age this was obvious but, luckily, his parents (particularly his mother) are firm and he learnt to not be overly spoilt or boastful.
Current State of Mind: Hugo still has his curious partiality towards dirt and mud and so shines particularly in Herbology. He is, in general, a good student, though often lazy. He is known by his teachers as a lazy boy who still manages to achieve good marks... Most of the time.
Hugo now devotes a large part of his time making a noise in the Magic Politics scene. He spends a fair amount of time campaigning for equal rights for all wizards and witches and, when not at school, joins his mother in bombarding the Ministry with demands for fairer laws for all magical creatures.
On a less intellectual level, Hugo is very interested in music, particularly by muggles. He also takes great pleasure in teasing people and causing a mess. By his side through all this are his sister, Rose, and his cousins.
Currently, Hugo has no specific crush. Though he has had a thing for Isolde Hearn from a young age...
Role In the Plot: Raised from an early age to believe in equality for all, Hugo is strongly opposed to the genetic alterations that the Ministry is allowing. He has attended a number of protests with his mother and friends. If it came down to a fight, Hugo would be more than willing to join in as he tends towards rash actions.
